We utilize Orcad as our primary schematic capture program at Keimac Circuit Solutions. Over the past several years we have become very familiar with this software and are able to use it well. This means that you get the most for your dollar. We have learned one program well, rather than a variety of programs marginally. This leads to the fastest capture of your schematic.

At KCS we have the ability to take a hand drawn sketch and convert it to a computer generated schematic. After this process, the schematics are sent back to the client for review and verification. This means that errors are minimized by multiple checks before the schematic is ever made into a circuit board.

We can take schematics that are outlined by pen or pencil and create a computer generated schematic for you. After your review we are ready for layout.

While this review may seem to slow the process, it can, in fact greatly increase the speed. If one mistake is missed, it can result in many hours
of lost debug time on a given circuit board.

Check twice, cut once. This step can also help save money by possibly reducing the number of times a given board has to be made.

We also have the ability to review and update current schematics. Some schematics can be difficult to read, so let KCS clean them up and make them more readable, increasing your effectiveness.

Once a schematic has been approved, part footprints are assigned and we are ready for layout

A BOM (Bill of Materials) can now be produced and parts can be purchased. This will allow boards to be built as soon as they arrive from the board house.
